5 Secrets To Become A Hot Cake In The Job Market With/ Without A Degree
Branding has been around
a long time and is one of the methods companies use to differentiate themselves
from the competition. In today's job market, employers are consumers. They're
looking for the best value when they hire an employee. They're searching for
someone who will solve their problems, make them money, and be a valuable asset
to their team.
As a job-seeker, having a brand allows you to present yourself as a valuable solution to an organization. This is why having a verified and authentic brand is key to standing out and being selected.
As a job-seeker, having a brand allows you to present yourself as a valuable solution to an organization. This is why having a verified and authentic brand is key to standing out and being selected.
1. Personal branding is the process of identifying the unique and differentiating value that you can bring to an organization, team and/or project, and communicating it in a professionally memorable
and consistent manner in all of your actions and outputs to all current and prospective stakeholders in your career.
It
is something that will give you a competitive edge during your job search
because it will help you to appear confident and strong; it also is effective
because prospective employers will see that you are committed to achieving your
best and delivering consistent results.
2.Your CV should reflect your brand. Invest in a professional CV as it is the gate pass to the interviews. Employers will judge you on your CV. The marketing message you create in your career profile should convey your unique skills and abilities. If you incorporate a resume-like profile, your brand will be evident in the way you compose your career summary, as well as in the way you order and word your past accomplishments
If the CV impresses an employer, then they will want to meet you in person but if your CV does not impress, you will never get to interviews. The resume should also be printed on quality paper, and should be free of grammatical errors. With recent technological advances (i.e., spell check and grammar correction), employers can be unforgiving. As a precautionary measure, have someone proofread your resume.
3. Digital Brand- These days, it is likely recruiters and employers will look you up online to make sure you don’t have any bad press. Maintain your digital brand by creating positive and helpful online pages about yourself. Your social media profiles whether on face book, twitter, linked in e.t.c should create a professional image. This is also in terms of content with regard to the picture you post to your profile, your posture, and facial expression along with the colors you choose for your clothing.

4. Visual branding – This refers to how you dress, walk, gesture, or approach someone to shake his or her hand. In essence, your visual brand is your overall style and how you create a unique look. This also refers to the colors you choose for your job search marketing material (e.g., resume, cover letter, thank-you letter). Each element should match in terms of color, texture, and overall style.
For example, during any face-to-face job interview, ensure that your clothing matches in the style and, ideally, color that you wore for your profile shot. If your body posture in the picture gave off an approachable style with a warm smile, be sure to replicate this attitude during any interviews. Smile as you are introduced to the interviewer; lean forward slightly as you shake hands.
If the first interview will be a phone screen, you can still convey a warm attitude by smiling as you talk and speaking in a low volume with a slow and measured cadence. Don't rush; give the interview a chance to digest what you are saying
5. Dresses the Part- In any job interview, an employer meets you for the first time and will be left with an impression of who you are. Employers will judge you on how you are dressed and present yourself. First impressions are lasting impressions; make sure you make a good one. If you have tattoos or piercings, recognize that the prospective employer may perceive certain things about you. This may be controversial, but I recommend that you remove the piercings and cover the visible tattoos. Remember, you're the one seeking employment.

AUTORESPONDER SYSTEM a quick guide on how to use them effecvely in your online marketting
Building a Contact List
If you are involved
with internet marketing you most likely have heard by now one of the most
important proverbs of online business: The Money is in the List.
The phrase describes
the relationship between large email lists and long term internet marketing
success (ie making money online). Only recently have I started focusing more on
building lists for my websites, and the results have revealed that the list is
indeed a powerful tool.
List
Building Strategy
When building your
lists its important to view them as a long term business assets rather than a
method to make a quick buck. By building a relationship and trust with your
subscribers, and nurturing it over time you create a resource that is packed
with potential.
Your broadcasts should
supplement and even offer exclusive value that you are already providing on
your website. If you are building a list for a blog or affiliate site, then
include extra information that only newsletter subscribers can receive.
There are numerous list
building tactics that promise gazillions of opt-ins with little effort. You
could build huge lists this way but how responsive will they be?
I would rather have a
few thousand active subscribers than tens of thousands of subscribers that
ignore my messages.
Attracting
Subscribers
Attracting subscribers
to your list by highlighting the benefits of joining, Do not trick them to
join.
10-15 years ago people
would search for newsletters to join, now most are seen as a nuisance and are
quickly deleted. The trick to building a large list is todraw
attention to your lists benefits, with an incentive. Entice your visitors
with a free ebook, video, or other form of exclusive content.
By focusing on drawing
attention to your lists benefits, you can filter out the ones who would only
join to get the incentive.
List
Marketing
Money will come with
time, first provide value to your subscribers, then find targeted situations
that will benefit your subscribers. The worst thing to do is spam a new list
with affiliate offers.
List
Building Tips
Below are a few tips
that could help you save time, energy, and money when building your list.
Be
Consistent
Broadcast consistency
is important, if you wait a few months to send messages, your subscribers might
have forgotten they voluntarily joined and mark your email as spam. Send out
mailings daily or weekly, bi-weekly and monthly are stretching it too far apart.
Provide Value
Providing consistent
valueis the key to
keeping subscribers. If they are not benefiting from your messages, they will
opt-out quickly.
Use
An Email Marketing Service
Email distribution
services, like Trafficwave (See MFB LeftSide Menu) are well worth their price. Instead of hacking scripts and
trying to figure out the email server spam systems, I would rather pay a small
monthly fee and have peace of mind knowing that all of my emails are arriving
without problems.
To understand more on the MFB or myfortunesbuilder please read this article HERE. You can also click here once you have understood the system Make money online the easy way...simple and legit
Use
Testimonials
Ask your subscribers
for quick testimonials about how they have received benefit from being a member
of your list.
Add
Teasers to Regular Content
In your regular
content, mention your list and value current subscribers are receiving.
Create
a Sales Page for your List
Take the benefits,
testimonials, teasers, and an incentive and organize them into a sales page for
your mailing list.
Keep
The Sign Up Form Short
The more information
that you request, the fewer subscribers you will get. Aside from the email
address, decide what information is crucial.
If you have not
started building a list of targeted subscribers, Start today.

Three Business Modules, MLM, Affiliate Marketing, HYIP — Two Legal One Illegal
Please, let us be clear: MLM, Affiliate Marketing, and Pyramid Schemes are Not Interchangeable Words
I have read with worry lines all over my face over the last weeks, the counsel given by my friend and fellow blogger, Walter of FreelancerKenya, discussing an ongoing scam in Kenya. The mind that drives a scam and the mind that drives a criminal of any kind are the same. The only way to protect yourself is to be informed. This article will shed light on the difference between three words that are easily assumed to be the same thing.
Multi Level Marketing (MLM), affiliate marketing, and High Yield Investment Programs (better known as Pyramid Schemes in Kenya), are three words describing money-making ventures often, very casually, and deceptively used interchangeably. It is horrible to listen to someone use the words with a lot of authority to appear as though they are one and the same things. They are not!
To first get it very correct; MLM and affiliate marketing are legal business modules. HYIPs or pyramid schemes, in almost all countries of the world, are illegal. There is no way a legal and an illegal business module be the same thing.
Affiliate Marketing
The term affiliate marketing is almost always only used online. It refers to re-sellers of other people’s products through a unique affiliate link. In this module, the re-seller may sell other people’s products exclusively online, offline or both. However, for the affiliate to get credit for the purchase, interested buyers must click on the re-sellers unique affiliate link.
In a professionally managed affiliate program, every affiliate has a unique affiliate link issued by the seller. For most affiliate programs online, the affiliate product is hosted on an affiliate management company such as SFI, ClickBank, or Amazon. These companies give you a unique link that when clicked and conclude in a purchase, will generate you an income.
In short, affiliate marketing is a business module seeking to get products out in the market and into the hands of consumers. Affiliate marketing companies sell tangible goods and/or services.
Running a campaign for an affiliate program on your site is one of the most lucrative methods to make money online.
Multi Level Marketing (MLM)
Multi Level Marketing, network marketing or relationship marketing are all the same thing and refer to another method of moving goods from the manufacturer to the consumer.
In the most common sales chain, products move from the manufacturer, to the distributor, to the retailer, and eventually find their way to the consumer. Each of the participants in the distribution chain earns a commission on the one product.
But guess who pays those commissions? The consumer!
Therefore, to get the sugar in your sugar-dish from the manufacturer, you have paid the manufacturer, the distributor, and finally you pay the retailer who could be anyone from the huge supermarkets, to the smaller kiosk outside your gate. Theoretically, MLM companies slash the chain of distribution and simplify it to just the manufacturer and the consumer. The consumer then acts as distributor and retailer and keeps the commissions of both.
MLM operates on two primary principles; first, that you earn directly from your personal sales efforts as you would as an affiliate, and second, you earn from team effort at different levels in multiple ways from the same sale. Thus the term ‘multi level’. From these facts, you can immediately see the income potential of this business module to generate income.
Most MLM companies sell tangible goods or services. Some, though in the minority, do not and tend towards the next business module.
High Yield Income Programs or Pyramid Schemes
The simplest way of identifying a pyramid scheme is from its purported goods or services, and its purported rate of multiplication. Purported because HYIPs often do not sell any goods or services. They will attract you with the promise of pay when you move up a pyramid, or get to the top of a list. You move up by introducing others who push you up.
The second module of pyramid schemes is to put money together in an investment program (one that invests in undisclosed high yield quarters) where you earn 100% plus return on investment within days, or weeks at most. The hidden incentive in this module is; tell all your friends of this good thing.
There are three things a-miss with the pyramid business module;
1. Any business that does not give tangible value to its consumers in the form of goods or services is a sham!
2. Any investment program that will not disclose where they invest is a sham!
3. Any program that will give you 100% plus return on your investment in weeks or days is a sham!
Why Are HYIPs or Pyramid Schemes Illegal?
Here is the money principle that is true of all HYIPs; if three of us have a dollar in the morning, and we each give our one dollar to person ‘A’, though person ‘A’ by end of business has three dollars, they actually also owe three dollars. If the process ends there, as it does in pyramid schemes, then there is only debt created, not value. What pyramid schemes circulate is debt, not value. Distributing debt is illegal.
Is that not the same principle of a merry-go-round? Yes! But note, a merry go round puts the money together and invests it into a program that will give them returns such as construction or individual business. In this case, when person ‘A’ is returning the three dollars, they are not repaying a debt from their debt. They take money out of their now increased wealth and return it into the kitty to create wealth for others. The money in a well-managed merry go round adds value to its members!
The Common Lies Used to Woo Clients by HYIPs in Kenya
1. We cannot explain how the cash increases! Ever heard the cry ‘let leaders disclose the source of their wealth!’ All legitimate wealth has a trail. If a company cannot explain its trail, it is a con job.
2. We cannot disclose where we invest, because it is our “business secret”. Laughable! Even giant multi-nationals such as ColcaCola have ‘business secrets’. Yet, CocaCola will reveal what is in their soda. The only thing they keep secret is the percentage of each ingredient. If an investment company will not say WHERE they are investing, they are not investing anything. They are recycling debt!

MAKE YOUR BLOG STAND OUT FROM THE REST.
MAKE YOUR BLOG STAND OUT FROM THE REST.
Plain blogs are very boring. They are just like
those stores that during festivities like Christmas they don’t bother to add
those unique lightnings to their premises neither do they to do some neat arrangement
to their stores that would have otherwise given them the much attraction that
is required to not only capture the audience eyes but also to finally lead them
to those particular shops. This instead chases the majority of customers who
might have indeed visited the stores and made the purchases. Those few who may
find their ways to search stores may not stay there for long and might end up
living without finding that product they might have wished to purchase despite
it being available. They might also not come back again.
The same apply to blogs. It is true that content
is the key reason as to why readers may want to visit your blog but you cannot overrule
the role played by the design of your blog. A good looking, catchy and elegant
blog is likely to attract lots of blog readers and most importantly help in maintaining
the leaders in your blog for longer periods. Blog may be fantastic content
wisely but poorly designed. What are results of this? You will attract a good
number of readers and at the same time you will always lose them even before
they can even learn of what other topics you blog about or even before they can
hover there cursors around and click on that adsence or that bidvertiser ad
that would have generated you that long awaited dollar that you are looking to
earn online. I can also assure you that 95% of the visitors might never pay
your blog a visit again. Just look at how much harm a poorly designed blog may
cost you? Your content generates much traffic and then 95 percent are not
willing to pay your blog a 2nd visit? Think about that before you
can even continue posting good content on poorly designed blogger accounts.
Blogger.com has various well designed templates
that are uniquely designed for bloggers and are easy to use. Most importantly
they are fully customizable by you and just like creating a blog doesn’t need
any programmer skills also doing this requires none of these skills. Its only
calls for a blogger to know of his topics and kind of audience then choose the
right templates and customize accordingly.
Adding gadgets to your blog is another of making sure
that your blog doesn’t look like a plain empty store that I talked about in my
introduction of this blog. Many bloggers don’t try this feature not because it
is hard but because they don’t like navigating around the blogger account and
settings well enough you can choose to add a gadget that is relevant to what
you talk about in your blog. For example if it’s about sports, technology or
politics. The choice is yours. You can do this very easily.
You simply visit bloggergadgets.net, and once you are
their browse the category that suits your topic your blog content click the
button next to the screenshot that says ‘add to the blog’ and you shall be
taken to blogger where you can chose to which blog you want to add the gadget
and after deciding the blog click configure the gadget. Then save and add the
gadget. You will be good to go.

Olx.co.ke the most ideal and perhabs the leading online marketplace in kenya
We are in a new digital era and almost everything and
everybody wants to be associated with this word “online”. Consequently we have been forced to change
the way we carry out our normal day to day activities by one factor or the
other. For example in this generation it will make no sense for one to travel
from marsabit to Nairobi to window shop on a
certain product then return back with the aim of coming back to purchase it one day when he or she has
got enough money to purchase it. Telecommunication companies like safaricom,
airtel yu and orange have invested
heavily on internet services thus ensuring that almost all of us are just a click away from all you
may need from that phone that u dream of having to that vehicle u one day want
to ride on and perhaps that beautiful house you want to have as you continue
living under this planet. And to those
of you who are looking for employment
you need not spend thousands you don’t have
on commuting as with internet you just ought to sit down relax and complete
everything from the comfort of your sitting room.
Due to this I look at three famous market place where one
can comfortably do shopping and sell anything and from everywhere in Kenya.
This is so far the leading consumer to consume marketplace
in Kenya where individuals and businesses sell buy, see rent and leas goods
both used and new and most importantly from almost every corner of the country.
It draws 89% of its traffic here in Kenya with almost 70% of its users having
learnt of it on television advertisements where it carries heavy advertisements
and 15% of the users being referred to the site by Google, yahoo bing among
other web search engines. Also an important thing that is worth to note is that
olx.co.ke attracts surfers of 25-45 years. This segment of population comprises
of young enthusiastic businessmen and consumers. What does this information
show you? Definitely as a digital minded guy you will conclude for yourself
that definitely here you will find everything from that phone to that
computer/laptop to that wall unit and even a vehicle you have always wanted to
own.
When you visit olx.co.ke either by computer or phone
you will be amazed by what you meet online. To have a look on olx via your
phone click here, otherwise click here. All consumer products arranged in
categories ie electronics, computers, books etc.. You may also be interested in
viewing those products that are close to you and that is very possible on olx. This
means you can purchase anything from anywhere.
The site also enables a guest to create an account and sell
products in this site free of chance thus exposing small business to an even larger
market as it does expose consumers to a wider varieties of commodities too.
Enjoy your time doing online shopping and selling on
olx.co.ke but please take great care. I would urge you to be careful with any
online deals as there also many nonexistent
deals from smart cone men out there
E-Business and E-Commerce overview.
We have recently entered the age of knowledge, often phrases
like knowledge is power and content is king will hit your ears more often when
discussing business on the net. Events that have continued to unfold in the
short course of e-commerce and e-business history have demonstrated and
continue to demonstrate that successful e-business are those that recognize the
needs of their target audiences and match those needs with relevant content..
The term e-commerce and e-business are often confused with
one another though they may be related they are different-commerce involves
exchanges among customers, business partners and the vendor. E.g. a supplier
interacts with a manufacturer, customers interact with sales representatives
and shipment providers interact with distributors.
E-business is composed of the same elements but also include
operation that are handled within the business itself e.g.
·
Production
·
Development
·
Corporate infrastructure
·
Product management.
These two; e-commerce and e-business have increased the
speed at which business transactions are being carried out. Also the ease
involved in carrying business transactions built on these two models seems to
be going through with a lot of ease. As a result of these two, ease and
increased speed competition has become intense.
What does this mean to businesses? It is the high time that
businesses must adjust constantly to new technologies, integrate newer and
faster systems and meet the needs of the people around there targeted market
segments. Competing entities must therefore must therefore realize that
customers do not have to go far to buy from next available vendor as in these
models they are just a click away from them.
