MAKE YOUR BLOG STAND OUT FROM THE REST.
Plain blogs are very boring. They are just like
those stores that during festivities like Christmas they don’t bother to add
those unique lightnings to their premises neither do they to do some neat arrangement
to their stores that would have otherwise given them the much attraction that
is required to not only capture the audience eyes but also to finally lead them
to those particular shops. This instead chases the majority of customers who
might have indeed visited the stores and made the purchases. Those few who may
find their ways to search stores may not stay there for long and might end up
living without finding that product they might have wished to purchase despite
it being available. They might also not come back again.
The same apply to blogs. It is true that content
is the key reason as to why readers may want to visit your blog but you cannot overrule
the role played by the design of your blog. A good looking, catchy and elegant
blog is likely to attract lots of blog readers and most importantly help in maintaining
the leaders in your blog for longer periods. Blog may be fantastic content
wisely but poorly designed. What are results of this? You will attract a good
number of readers and at the same time you will always lose them even before
they can even learn of what other topics you blog about or even before they can
hover there cursors around and click on that adsence or that bidvertiser ad
that would have generated you that long awaited dollar that you are looking to
earn online. I can also assure you that 95% of the visitors might never pay
your blog a visit again. Just look at how much harm a poorly designed blog may
cost you? Your content generates much traffic and then 95 percent are not
willing to pay your blog a 2nd visit? Think about that before you
can even continue posting good content on poorly designed blogger accounts.
Blogger.com has various well designed templates
that are uniquely designed for bloggers and are easy to use. Most importantly
they are fully customizable by you and just like creating a blog doesn’t need
any programmer skills also doing this requires none of these skills. Its only
calls for a blogger to know of his topics and kind of audience then choose the
right templates and customize accordingly.
Adding gadgets to your blog is another of making sure
that your blog doesn’t look like a plain empty store that I talked about in my
introduction of this blog. Many bloggers don’t try this feature not because it
is hard but because they don’t like navigating around the blogger account and
settings well enough you can choose to add a gadget that is relevant to what
you talk about in your blog. For example if it’s about sports, technology or
politics. The choice is yours. You can do this very easily.
You simply visit bloggergadgets.net, and once you are
their browse the category that suits your topic your blog content click the
button next to the screenshot that says ‘add to the blog’ and you shall be
taken to blogger where you can chose to which blog you want to add the gadget
and after deciding the blog click configure the gadget. Then save and add the
gadget. You will be good to go.
